ABOUT BAYMAK

Baymak has more than 50 years of experience in the HVAC market and has 2 manufacturing plants in Tepeören, with a total area exceeding 60,000 m2. As one of the leading manufacturers of Turkey, who always focuses on producing goods with advanced technology, Baymak has near to 1,000 dealers across the country, in addition to more than 2,100 sales points and over 1,500 service technicians. Baymak has currently more than 600 employees, and has become a 100% BDR Thermea Group company in 2013. The BDR Thermea Group is centered in the Netherlands and is the 3rd biggest company in the European HVAC market.

Baymak manufactures, exports and imports products in the categories of heating, cooling, water heaters, water technology and renewable energy. The heating products consist of condensing wall hung boilers, wall type and floor type condensing boilers, residential jet burners, panel radiators, towel warmers, valves and expansion tanks. Cooling products include split air conditioners, split floor standing air conditioners, heat pumps. The offerings in the renewable energy category include solar collectors, biomass boilers, biodiesel burners and photovoltaic systems. Finally, Baymak/BDR Thermea's products in the water heaters and water technologies field consist of electrical water heaters, thermoboilers, gas water heaters, boilers, circulation pumps, submersible pumps, pool pumps, centrifugal pumps and boosters.

Baymak, with its wide spectrum of products, is exporting to 65 countries from China to Uruguay. We can quickly respond to the needs of different markets with our quality product spectrum and experienced service team. Our objective in exports is to create long term partnerships in every field that Baymak is working in. Thanks to its advanced technical expertise, Baymak can adapt its products to the special needs of international markets.

CORPORATE SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY

We always knew that manufacturing, technology and innovation were not sufficient to leave a sustainable future to our children.

We thought that the most valuable contribution to a sustainable world would be to ensure our children could look on the future with hope, by raising their awareness about energy and world resources.

In this respect, we decided to support energy themed courses in the Energy Museum at Santralistanbul campus, together with İnformel Eğitim-çocukistanbul. Students at state schools can participate in courses free of charge through Baymak’s support.

The program, aiming to raise awareness about energy sources, has been designed with interactive methods and group activities based on age group characteristics (3-6, 7-12 and 13-15 age groups). There are 2 hours of courses on weekdays. The energy education program for children focuses on energy conservation, energy efficiency, alternative energy resources, as well as the concepts of sustainability and accessibility.

In the 2017-2019 school year, about 14 thousand students will have learned many important subjects that may profoundly affect the lives of future generations, like efficient use of energy resources and climate change.

Students and teachers participating in the program are given the chance to evaluate the course contents and the program. According to the evaluation results, the program undertakes a concrete and distinctly transformative role in introducing children at an early age to current issues like energy conservation and the importance of efficiency, importance of renewable energy resources in life, sustainability and climate change.

Baymak is aware of the importance of raising the awareness of decision makers of the future regarding clean energy and will continue supporting the Energy Education Program in the future.

Baymak continues to work on providing ultimate satisfaction to its customers not only in hardware but also in services by utilizing the power of education, considering tomorrow as well as today.

Continuously investing in the future of its sector, Baymak opened Baymak Academy, which embraces a human concentric value system, and aims to ensure that the current and future workforce of the sector, as well as the members of the Baymak family, will serve with the utmost knowledge in their respective fields.

The aim of the trainings in Baymak Academy is to provide support in service training and complement the applied trainings. All the courses are given in an applied manner, by using the very devices and appliances themselves.

There is an automation system comprising of miscellaneous devices in Baymak Academy, consisting of 54 products, as well as 9 automation and 5 plumbing integration units, totaling at 68 - ranging from boilers to natural gas powered stoves in the heating group, water boosters for fires to circulation pumps in the water group, cooling devices, system support equipment, automation units and futureproof appliances using and generating renewable energy.

There are different courses in Baymak Academy, which all are free for all participants; ranging from Trainings for the Call Centers, to Licensed Service Stations, Licensed Service Personnel, B2C and B2B Sales Channels, Plumbing Personnel, Corporate Project/Planning Management and Gas Distribution as well as parallel courses prepared according to the official curriculum for Colleges/Universities and Technical Schools.
